Late Sunday night, after we watch the final episode of "Survivor" and had just taken Ollie for his late night walk, it started to rain and then rain hard. We could hear it drum on the roof when we were awake that night. It felt nice and cozy inside with the rig all closed up and all our outdoor stuff either put away or covered. It drizzled a couple of times Monday afternoon, then this morning it was sunny for several hours before clouding over late this afternoon. This morning I put the windows back in the jeep so we could use it in the rain, although we are supposed to have seen the worst of this "storm" as they call it down here. Their idea of rain down here is far removed from ours.
Susan is working on the Xmas cards while I write this and we hope to mail them tomorrow when we go grocery shopping at Costco and Albertsons. Last year we skipped sending cards out since we were traveling etc. When we got home in March we had about fifty cards in our mail backlog.
This year we are a little more organized and are sending our "picture cards" of our rig from last years trip. We hope to find a nice location for this years picture somewhere on the beach prior to or on Xmas. I have an idea of what I am looking for in the way of a setting but not sure I can make it work. We'll see.
